Superduty Bison (Roughout/Smooth)

So at first these boots were real tight. They were a regular “D” but I’ve gone through many boots and knew this leather would relax and fit my foot. After quite a few wearings my feet are easing in to comfort. A boot is not like a shoe. There are many different wear points on your foot and ankle and it takes time to break in the comfort. I am happy with the quality and materials used. I am retired now so break in time will be longer

Like other reviewers have said, these boots are really well built, and really comfortable.

I'm a forester in North Queensland in Australia, where we have lot of soft ground and lots of water and mud in the wet season.

The break in wasn't as bad as I thought, they were comfortable to stand in straight away and haven't taken long to be broken in enough for walking longer distances in, the only area which is taking a while to break in is the heal counter area.

The arch support isn't nearly as painful either, I have relatively high arched feet and the arch has required no break in at all for me, it was almost disappointing.

They are heavy, but not the heaviest boots i've worn and were lighter than I expected them to be.

They are also stiff, but also not the stiffest boots i've worn and they do have a bit of flex which is good.

The safety toe on mine is good and hasn't caused any problems with rubbing yet.

The outsole is really hard, and the grip is amazing on soft ground, it can be a bit slippery over rocks and they aren't ideal for walking long distances over hard surfaces (rocks, gravel etc) but they are great for softer ground.

My only complaint is that they didn't come with nylon laces and the leather laces are really taking a beating since it is the wet season here. They often need retightening, and they are stretching a lot and it would have been good to save the leather laces for the fire season.

I haven't oiled or otherwise waterproofed mine and they aren't water…

I couldn’t be happier! I have over 50,000 steps in the last 3 days and my feet aren’t sore even a little bit. They are also extremely durable, I don’t feel like I will damage them when I’m kicking something into place. I have worn a lot of boots and never have I worn something even close to these. Even my sneakers aren’t as comfortable and DEFINITELY not as durable.

I won’t be buying any other brand of boot ever again. Jk for life!
