Finding your size is super simple! If you are new to JK boots, get ready for an incredible boot experience. Take a couple minutes and follow the steps below to find your JK size. Keep in mind that the quality of the materials and construction of our boots is one of a kind, which means your boots will form to your feet over time, eliminating small sizing differences. So really, you can't mess this up!

This picture shows the difference between the size of a regular shoe and a JK Boot. Our boots are one size smaller than the standard size.

STEP 1

Find your length: subtract one whole number from your US men's standard size (or use printable Brannock). For example a standard 10.5 would be a size 9.5 in JK Boots.

PRINTABLE BRANNOCK

This picture shows how to measure the width of your foot

STEP 2

Find your width: use a tailors tape to measure around the ball of the foot (widest boney part of the foot).

This picture shows an example version of the sizing chart.

STEP 3

Find your JK size on the sizing chart!

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT

JK's handmade leather boots are unlike anything you have put on your feet before. Because we use the highest quality materials and construction, your boots will form to your feet over time, for the perfect fit.

Your boots may feel a little stiff or strange at first, and that is completely normal. The leather will settle to your feet: stretching, where there is tightness, and shrinking up where there is extra room. The insoles will form to your arches and toes, and the boots will soften and mold to your foot and calf.

Wear with a good pair of socks, trust the break in process, and enjoy a whole new level of footwear!

The best feeling in the world is a pair of well worn leather boots that is perfectly broken in to your feet. You won’t want to wear anything else…and the happy side effects are a gorgeous patina that will turn heads.

The nature of handmade leather boots means that they mold and adapt to your feet and movements as you wear them, making the perfect fit. When taken care of, the quality leather gets softer and acts almost like a second skin, supporting all the muscles and tendons in your feet and ankles. As you can observe these changes from the outside, the internal arch and footbed adjust in a similar way to perfectly cradle your foot. A well worn pair of boots fits only one person.

    Outstanding Quality

Extremely satisfied with the fit, finish, look, and feel of my JK300’s. As someone with a narrow foot, finding a boot to fit is virtually impossible. I was hesitant to order boots online. I used the JK sizing guide which indicated a size 9. My normal shoe size (Allen Edmonds) is 11B. After a couple of email exchanges, I decided to take a chance and ordered the 300 Mahogany's. Though it took 11 weeks from order to delivery, it was well worth the wait. A high quality hand-made boot can’t be rushed.

My first wearing was a half a day as my heel was beginning to experience discomfort. I wore thick socks that day because that’s my normal pattern when buying off the shelf boots. The second time I wore thin socks and didn’t experience any discomfort. This is proof that JK Boots are made to fit your foot. I know after about a month of wearing, my 300’s will fit like a glove. If you are uncertain about purchasing any JK boot, take the plunge. You’ll be glad you did.

    Solid Pair of Boots

On average, over the past 8 years, I have consumed about 1 pair of boots a year. I am not an expert on boots but having gone enough pairs over the last 8 years, I have compiled boot research and have tried 4-5 different book makers. I also grew up and live in large state that places a significant part of its identity on boots (and large hats for that matter).

The boots I purchased from JK are a really good pair of boots and the first pair of theirs I have used. They have been a pleasure to wear everyday for a month in different terrain and weather conditions; rain, mud, rocks, hiking, general construction and in an automotive shop. The boots have been successful in all aspects.

I am glad that I spent the extra dollars on these boots: 1.) The boots are a great partner at work, you gain confidence in your workwear. 2.) The boots can be sent back to JK for repair by someone who cares about boots. 3.) JK Boots seem like genuine dudes who really really like to make boots and I'll always support that type of enthusiasm/craftsmanship.

The 300 boots are one of the least expensive boots that JK offer. I am not sure how they add this much quality in a boot, charge what they do and still make a living. I wonder how well the boots that cost more from JK are made considering.

And for anyone who is nervous about sizing, I wear a 11.5-12, went through JK's sizing guide and the fit is right on. I also ordered the laces that are cured in resin. They were sticky at first but have dried out…

    Best fitting boots I've owned

I've only had them two weeks but as soon as I put my darn tough sock covered foot inside the boot I knew I would never be able to buy another $200+ boot at any "work boot" store. I have a narrow foot D never fit all that great after they broke in, but my JK boots can be had in a narrow I ordered a size 10 Narrow I usually wear an 11 in other boots. Perfect fit worth the wait the 300 is more than enough boot and to me worth every American cent. They also sent an 8 FL oz. Bottle of leather conditioner. This won't be my last pair of JK boots.
