Fire Inlander - Black

i have a couple other jk boots, superduty s, and ot pro. i wanted a heavier boot for heavier work . i did a 5 mile hike in these out of the box with a 20lb pack on just to see how they felt. i was wearing medium thickness darn tough socks. no issues and i could really feel the difference in arch and heel vs the ot. boots were very comfortable right out of the box. i am buying ee widths in jk as i got really use to the space in some jim green boots i own and those are supposed to be ee width (#bootlosophy). All the jk boots so far fit great for me. The super duty s has the feeling of a flatter heal drop but they are really great for when i am just standing around digging or building things where i am not walking alot. For hiking/walking i prefer the ot pro. the fire inlanders will be great for carying heavier weight and also hiking in cooler weather. i appreciate that the same size and width matches across the boots very well.

Outstanding boot so far. I work on drill rigs in Alaska and have gone through all kinds of boots over the years and I’m pretty confident that I’ve found my last boot. The break-in period is a fraction of as long my ****** were and I really liked my ****** as well. I can just tell by the attention to detail and the leather of these boots though that the durability will be night&day. My only recommendation is to go one size wider than you think you’re gonna need. But even if you don’t they will break in nicely just like mine did and now they fit great. I highly recommend these boots to anyone that wants a comfortable boot built for tough conditions.

JK is a company that pride themselves in what they do, and you can tell by the quality, beauty, build, and fit of their product, I don't think you could get anymore close to perfect. They also double down on what an amazing Company they are with their customer service. I'm sure its not hard to talk to your customers when you know your backed by the kick *** product that you are putting out. However, These guys go all out, over and above, ***** to the walls, etc to make sure you are happy with your purchase, or answer any questions you might have ( they will even answer questions you didn't even know existed that's how learned they about what they are selling).

If your a wildland firefighter (That is my job so im writing this to help other WLFF) or you just need an amazing pair of work/ hike boots that will keep you working in comfort for the entire season and many seasons to come. DO NOT GO ANYWHWERE ELSE! the product is well worth the price. Remember if your feet don't work, neither do you! These boots are the second pair I have bought from JK in 3 years and the OG pair still has life in them, I just wanted a back up in case. And I can't wait to send the first pair in to get re-soled.

I SWEAR ON MY JK BOOTS that if you get a pair of these bad boys, you will be a returning customer for years to come!
